What worked: All four guest groups this week gave us 9+ ratings. The consistency felt like a breakthrough after months of building our approach.

What made it work: We focused on one thoughtful gesture per day instead of overwhelming guests with ten things. When we tried to anticipate everything, guests felt it was "too much." One daily gesture felt genuinely caring.

How to strengthen: I'm documenting the "one gesture philosophy" in our Hospitality Playbook so the next house captain can use it from day one.

My courageous action: Documenting our practices in real-time with our first guests—even though we're still figuring things out. It's vulnerable to codify something imperfect, but it's the only way we'll scale what works. If I wait until it's perfect, we'll never capture what makes it special.
